Moroccan international striker Amine Adli has extended his contract with Bayer Leverkusen until 2028, the German champion club announced on Friday.
Adli, who is currently suffering from a fractured left fibula suffered in October’s Champions League match against Brest, has played 126 times for Bayer, scoring 21 goals and providing 22 assists.

Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes believes that Adli “has become a top player in the Bundesliga”.
This season, Leverkusen is currently fourth in the Bundesliga, seven points behind Bayern after nine days and thirteenth in the Champions League after four days.
Franco-Moroccan, the native of Béziers chose to represent Morocco in the selection and has played 14 times for the Atlas Lions since his debut in September 2023.
