the essential
The months of May and June are in sport, and particularly in the world of amateur rugby, the months of population movements. Stopover point at RC Auch.

True transhumance or periodic migration towards new pastures which are hoped to be greener, perhaps more nourishing. This pastoral practice is observed in rugby. Every year, during the spring, the RCA sees some “animals” leave the Jacques-Fouroux meadow and others settle around Moulias.

This season seems to be a turning point after two years in the National with the departure of certain executives towards the professional world such as the excellent “second latte” Mathieu Soufflet towards Stado Tarbais or even Mathis Lafforgue, the young center, towards Périgueux or simply at RC Nîmes for the bubbling hooker Lucas Larré-Larrouy.

Back home

In Auch, DNA is the formation and then the birds fly on their own wings towards their destinies. As in any migration, there is a return to the nest, instead of its roots. Clément Pérusin, the young opener full of qualities, left for Biarritz Olympique, passing through Chambéry, returns home this season with the experience acquired in the two clubs where he has played since 2021. At the time of stopping his career of fly-half Jérémy Ducousso, Clément will be an important element of the team still led by Gregory Menkarska.

The Auscitain coach will be supported by Frédéric Pujo and for the next season by Julien Campo, coach of the RCA Crabos, replacing Clément Briscadieu who left for the Landes. This senior coaching pole will be completed by Christophe Stéfani who will team up with Arnaud Mignardi alongside the Espoirs.

Of course, recruitment is targeted towards positions that have experienced departures. Georgian pillar Giorgi Menabdishvili leaves for EAB XV as player-coach alongside Brice Salobert (Juniors RCA) and Pierre Didelot (M14 RCA). The right pillar of Castelsarrasin Nassim El Youmouri will be red and white next season like Matias Martiello, the winger coming from the plateau. Scrum half Baptiste Brun returns home to Blagnac and Gabin Came-Soumolou has signed for the Montpellier hopefuls pole.

Apart from these departures, it should be noted that there is good stability in the senior group with a very large majority of extensions for the first and hopeful teammates behind captain Théo Thierry. Other arrivals are planned, they should become official in the coming days.
