Neuchâtel Xamax is pleased to announce the arrival of Koro Koné at La Maladière. The powerful attacker will join the group from the start set for June 17.

Having traveled extensively in his youth between Switzerland, Germany and South Africa, Koné made a name for himself in France with visits to Dijon, Arles-Avignon, Sedan and Boulogne. After a good season in National with the last named, the Ivorian striker signed with Servette FC in 2018. From his first season in Challenge League, he actively participated in the rise of the Grenat club in the elite. He stayed at Servette FC until 2021, where he landed at Yverdon Sport under the orders of a certain… Uli Forte. In 58 games with Yverdon, Koné scored 30 goals and earned a second promotion to the elite. Now aged 34, the striker almost obtained a third promotion with FC Thun during the promotion/relegation play-off between GC and the Oberlanders at the end of the 23/24 financial year.
