The AS FAR women’s team will begin its campaign in the African Champions League on Saturday November 9, 2024, which will take place from November 9 to 23 in Morocco. The objective of Amine Alioua’s players is to win this African coronation for the second time in the club’s history.
After dominating the African continent in 2022 by winning the Women’s Champions League title for the first time, AS FAR will have the opportunity, this year, to repeat this feat during the 4th edition of this prestigious African competition, which will be played from November 9 to 23, 2024, in Morocco. The African Champions League matches will take place in two cities: Casablanca and El Jadida.
The Moroccan champions will begin this new adventure by challenging the Eagles of Medina on Saturday November 9, 2024 at the El Abdi Stadium in El Jadida. The AS FAR team is ready to take on the challenge. All the players are determined to win the title and once again mark the history of Moroccan women’s football.
A few days before this first match, Mohammed Amine Alioua spoke of the objective that his team wishes to achieve during this 4th edition of the African Champions League: “We are preparing for the CAF Women’s Champions League. Next Saturday we will play our first match. We are determined and confident in the players’ ability to honor the AS FAR jersey,” he said in a statement to the AS FAR official website.
