To mark the occasion at Old Trafford, Rúben Amorim hopes to arrive with a few Sporting gems in his suitcases.
Future coach of Manchester United, Rúben Amorim would like to strengthen the Red Devils squad by relying on talents he knows well from Sporting CP. According to information from Sacha Tavolieri, the Portuguese coach is targeting a promising trio from the Lisbon team: defenders Gonçalo Inácio and Ousmane Diomande, as well as striker Viktor Gyökeres. Inácio, known for his ability to build the game from the back, and Diomande, solid in defense, could offer United a quality defensive base for an amount of around €85 million (€45 and €40 million market value) .
As for Gyökeres, he would bring additional offensive depth to the Mancunian attack. Again the author of a hat-trick last night against Manchester City (4-1), the Swede is estimated at more than 100 million euros. It remains to be seen whether Manchester United will be able to convince Sporting to let three of their key players leave, as the winter transfer window approaches.
