The winner of the last Jacques Durand tournament is again L’Ecole de rugby de Layrac Caudecoste. ! The shield therefore remains on Brulhois soil for a 2nd consecutive year. The BDUs of Valence, Layrac, Lectoure, Fleurance, Grisolles and Castanet were present. There were nearly 250 young people who set foot on the pitches, 12 fields were necessary to organize this legendary tournament, all the fields of the South-West pole complex were taken by storm. 6 rugby schools registered for categories M6, M8, M10 and M12. General Shield: EDR Layrac-Caudecoste M12: EDR Layrac-Caudecoste M10: EDR Layrac-Caudecoste M8: EDR Avenir Valencien M6. The participants were all rewarded with cups and medals. A great inter-school rugby meeting, without major issues, the aim being to have the little athletes play in categories by level.

We were able to see some great play, some great passes and tries! We could hear bursts of laughter and voices among the young competitors, everyone had fun in a good mood, giving the best of themselves, a beautiful image and value of rugby. Thank you to all the parents for their involvement and support at the side of the pitch, to the educators and coaches of the participating clubs, to the people responsible for the matches and the sets, to the stewardship volunteers who did everything possible to spoil the 250 young people Rugbymen and Rugbywomen. Many thanks to our reference educator Dimitri Delsol for his dedication and for organizing this sporting and festive event with his staff.
