With a loss against the Panthers, Carr now has a loss against 31 different teams in the NFL. He is thus ahead of all the other quarters with the distinction of around thirty defeats against different teams.
Carr, who played his entire career with the Raiders and Saints, was a 2nd round pick in the 2014 draft by Oakland.
To have a loss against every team in the NFL, Carr will have to drop the flag against his old team at least once. Good news (or bad, it depends), the Saints face the Raiders in their penultimate game of the season this winter. If Carr is healthy, he could finish his bingo card before the end of the campaign.
Among active quarterbacks, Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco could also tie Carr’s mark. Matt Ryan’s Falcons face the Raiders before the Saints, a team on Ryan’s list. For Flacco, it’s more complicated as he is a reserve, but the Colts face the Lions in three weeks.
It’s not the kind of record a player really wants to have, but, it’s still a record.
The Saints will try to get back to winning ways against the Cleveland Browns in two weeks after an earned bye.
