For the 11th time in a row, the Carabins will face the Rouge et Or in the Dunsmore Cup, the grand final of Quebec university football. The two teams each flew through their semi-final on Saturday.

At home at CEPSUM, the Carabins crushed the McGill Redbirds 42-3 thanks to three rushing touchdowns, those of Redval Keita, Mathieu Barsalou and quarterback Jonathan Sénécal.

Through the air, Sénécal completed 29 of his 36 passes for gains of 324 yards. He threw touchdowns to Carl Chabot and Iraghi Muganda, in addition to being the victim of an interception.

The University Rouge et Or easily beat the Concordia Stingers 41-18 at the PEPS. William Tremblay scored three touchdowns on the ground, while quarterback Arnaud Desjardins (18 in 23, 327 yards) joined Olivier Cool twice in the pay zone.

Cool finished the game with a total of 175 yards.

The Carabins, reigning Vanier Cup champions, will play in the Quebec grand final at Laval University on Saturday.
