Vendée Globe. After the 4L Trophy and a hitchhiking trip around the world, Benjamin Ferré’s new adventure

Benjamin Ferré (34 years old) chose to extend his dreams, to put on the costume of the heroes who made him dream, then a teenager from not necessarily attracted by the sea. A 4L Trophy between Spain and Morocco at 18, a tour hitchhiking around the world at 22, an initiatory crossing of the Atlantic on a sextant at 25 with two friends as inexperienced as him.

The 2019 Mini Transat will be decisive for the skipper of Monnoyeur – Duo for a Job. “It’s not over, the adventure won’t stop there, he will do something bigger and why not go around the world”his mother predicted at the end of the race. Since then, salt water has been flowing through the sailor-entrepreneur’s veins. In in the spring, on the Port Olona pontoon in mid-October the day after the arrival of his Imoca in Les Sables-d’Olonne, Benjamin Ferré took the time to tell his story and share. His credo. With patience, modesty and with refreshing sincerity.
