It was a great final that the two girls’ finalists offered us for week D30 of the Dakar International Junior Tournament. Manon Favier won again, this time against the Polish Agata Pudnik in three sets (4-6, 6-3, 6-1).

This 2024 edition will be called that of the consecration of Manon Favier among the girls. After her great victory during the first week (D60) against Emira Diabaté, the 16-year-old Frenchwoman once again won the coronation of this week of D30. This time, she got the upper hand over the Pole, Agata Pudnik.

Arriving on tiptoe in the final, Agata surprised everyone by winning the first round of this game. Taking advantage of a few rushing errors from Manon, the young Polish woman won from the start (6-4). But it was to wake up his opponent on the other side of the net. The Frenchwoman came back to score thanks to a better attitude, particularly on her serve. She finished the second round in front and equalized (6-3).

The third set turns out to be decisive since it will determine the winner of this J30 final between Agata Pudnik and Manon Favier. Although crucial, this round will only be a demonstration of strength for Manon Favier (6-1). The 16-year-old Frenchwoman won her second coronation in two weeks and set a record.
