Charlotte cracks 3 minutes from the buzzer
After one quarter, the Hornets were behind (40-25). But, at the break, they had erased almost all of their deficit (71-67). Boston then tried several times to escape on the scoreboard but Charlotte was able to react. At 8’09” from the final buzzer, LaMelo Ball planted a three-point shot which brought the North Carolina franchise within one unit of the Celtics (100-99). And, five minutes later, thanks to Cody Martin, the Hornets were still in contact (111-105).
