Recently, business people have shown strong interest in obtaining a Cecchini Circuit team in the Centre Mary Brownwhich has been empty since the departure of Growlers of the ECHL.
The Titan would be in the sights of this group in order to move the team to the capital.
Expansion seems unlikely at this time due to the small pool of quality players available, but their moves are raising curiosity.
Ensuring that a high-caliber sports team can succeed in Newfoundland is proving to be quite a challenge, particularly due to the costs associated with travel. There has already been a team of QMJHL and three professional teams that ceased operations.
