The latest news is that Patrik Laine has not started skating again.
He is progressing because he no longer walks with a too obvious limp, but we are still waiting for the moment when he will be able to put on his skates again.
Until then, Laine remains involved: we learned today that he is partnering with ALBI le Géant, a local company that sells new and used vehicles.
The announcement was made through an Instagram publication on the ALBI le Géant account itself, in collaboration with the MVP Group.
In the video, we see Patrik Laine saying that he is very happy with his new association and we see him talking about his new vehicle.
He likes his Genesis GV70 (sport version) because he says that in Canada, you need an SUV that can be efficient during the winter due to the snow.
He knows what he’s talking about because he once lived in Winnipeg:
The vehicle is really beautiful. I like the touch of red inside and the “sport version” exterior design of the car, it looks a bit mean.
I don’t hate it.
That said, Laine had a tough time after getting hurt during training camp and seeing him with a smile on his face, it seems like it’s comforting.
So much the better!
A month ago to the day, the Canadian announced that the forward suffered a sprained knee and would be out for two to three months.
We will therefore have to wait a little before seeing him back on the ice and it is boring in a sense, because the Canadian could use a little of his talent.
But hey. The Canadian has to make do with what he has at hand, even if it hasn’t been chic lately…
In burst
– Déjà?
– It is well deserved.
– Nice.
