Always combative, clean and self-sacrificing, he was the strong point of a sometimes crumbly defense. Qualitative interventions, sometimes messy, for a still good match.

Aligned despite the uncertainty before the meeting, the Cameroonian had difficulty holding Ajorque during the meeting (19th, 27th).

Solid, he was impeccable in the air, and left no room for the Brest offensives. A header on target (25th) for Rennes’ first offensive of the match as well. A satisfying match.

Placed on the right wing in the absence of Assignon, he did the job, correct defensively and projecting well against the rare Rennes offensives in the first period.
Replaced after the Brest goal on the hour mark, by Jota for a change of system and a saving goal.

In great technical difficulty today. Once again, the full-back did not have the expected performance and multiplied the errors. Warned before the break, logically, a complicated match.

Well into his match, like Santamaria he defended in his camp and had few good balls to exploit to move forward. Unhappy on returning from the locker room when a shot that he deflected caused Brest to take the penalty.
Replaced by Gronbaek for the last quarter of an hour, much more qualitative in the game.
Santamaria : 5
Aligned alongside Matusiwa, he suffered like the team in the first half, building little and defending a lot. Half of his duels won, almost all of his passes validated, a decent half before being replaced by Kamara on the hour mark.

A very complicated first period with around ten ball losses, then a second act where his replacement was good for the team’s play. But an overall complicated match.
Gouiri: 3
Author of the first shot on target of the match for Rennes in the 45th minute, like his team he only developed little offensively.
Replaced by Gomez for the last quarter of an hour.
Kalimuendo : 4
Little influence on his team’s play, a shot on target in the second half, and overall a sluggish match from the striker. However involved in the equalizing goal, unexpected for Rennes.
