This second edition Egyptian sauce involves eight teams divided into two groups. Group A is made up of
Moroccosemi-finalist in the four previous editions and third in the last two, Egypt, reigning vice-champion and bête noire of the Moroccans, Tanzania, which is making its first participation, and Ghana, back for the first time since 2016.
Group B includes the Senegalrecord holder with seven titles on the list and ultra favorite for a fifth consecutive coronation, Mozambique, finalist in the penultimate edition (2021), Malawi, author of its second participation and Mauritania, another neophyte of the competition.
Morocco will open the ball against Tanzania this Saturday, and will successively face Ghana next Monday and Egypt the next day. Senegal will enter the competition against Mauritania on Sunday then will follow with Malawi and Mozambique next Monday and Tuesday respectively.
The semi-finals will be played on October 24. Ditto for the fifth and sixth place classification matches. The third place match will be played on October 26 just before the grand final scheduled for the same day.

How many African teams qualify for the Beach Soccer World Cup?
The two finalists will advance to the 2025 Beach Soccer World Cup scheduled for next year in Seychelles, automatically qualified as hosts for this first World Cup of the discipline organized in Africa. Which will exceptionally bring the number of African teams to three.

How long does a Beach Soccer match last?
A Beach Soccer match pits two teams of five players, including the goalkeeper, against each other. The match lasts 36 minutes separated by three thirds of twelve minutes each.
