Through a press release published this Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain formalized the appointment of Yohan Cabaye, former player trained at LOSC, to the position of sports director of the training and pre-training center.
Former player of LOSC, his training club whose colors he defended from 2003 to 2011 among professionals, Yohan Cabaye (38 years old) continues his post-career in France, but at Paris Saint-Germain, where he had for a year and a half. Returning to the capital in 2021, when he had just ended his footballing adventure, he became sports coordinator before becoming deputy sports director of the training center in 2023. One year later, the native of Tourcoing was promoted to sports director of the training and pre-training center.
Its role will be to “manage support for young people at each stage of their sporting, socio-educational and academic journey, from pre-training to training, while maintaining a close relationship with their families”specifies PSG which adds that its leaders wish to rely on the continuity of the exemplary career of the former midfielder, but also on his expertise and his knowledge of the high level.
