Deschamps optimistic for Maignan, Tchouaméni and Coman

“We are going to adapt and anticipate the options that we may have. There is work in conjunction with the clubs and Doctor Franck Le Gall to have as much information as possible. I am not going to go into details, these are three different situations. Mike Maignan has resumed specific training sessions. There will be no risks taken next weekend with his club. He will be concerned for the last match, against Aurélien Tchouaméni. is in the rehealing phase. He will join us after the C1 final. Kingsley Coman is in the reathleticization phase, if all goes well he will be available at the start of the course to train with the team.

The important date is the evening of June 7 when I will send my list to UEFA. I don’t hope for those. who are there but I may have to make changes for the goalkeepers, it’s until the end and we have until the 16th, the day before the first match, for the outfield players in the event of an injury.

In the past, Didier Deschamps has often had to deal with injury concerns at the last minute. In 2014, for the World Cup, the coach had to deprive himself of Steve Mandanda and Franck Ribéry. For Euro 2016, Raphaël Varane and Jérémy Mathieu were out. During the last World Cup in Qatar, Didier Deschamps suffered several absences after the announcement of his list such as Presnel Kimpembe, Christopher Nkunku and above all, Karim Benzema.
