Paris FC and its future investors are already preparing a big transfer window

Last May, Pierre Ferracci, majority shareholder of FC and president of the club since 2012, confided his wish to hand over to new investors. “ Time passes… I arrive at a point in my professional life where, as in my audit and consulting activity at Groupe Alpha, the question of handing over the baton arises. With my two sons (Marc and François, editor’s note), we agreed, last summer, on the principle of a complete exit from Paris FC at the end of the 2026-2027 season. I will leave the presidency of the club on that date. You have to know how to turn the page. But I will keep a good part of the club for three years.»

He later added: “ I hope we will be in L1 before then. After the promise of the Top 5 kept for this season, we want to give ourselves the means to compete for the first two places within two years. » Very attached to the capital club, Ferracci wanted to leave his baby in good hands, preferably those of a French or European investor. In recent months, several candidates have come forward. And finally, one stood out. Yesterday, The Team revealed that the PFC would soon be sold to the Arnault family, which manages the famous LVMH group and which will become a majority shareholder of 55% initially before obtaining 85% of the club’s shares when the former owners are definitively gone by 2027.
