This continental tournament sees the participation of 27 teams representing 11 African countries (11 in the women’s category and 16 in the men’s category), including renowned African clubs, such as Widad Smara, Al-Ahly and Zamalek of Egypt, in addition clubs representing Angola, Tunisia, Nigeria and Senegal.

For men, the clubs Raja Agadir, Union Derb Sultan and Widad Smara are housed respectively in groups B, C and D, while AS Nouasser will play in group C alongside the clubs Petro Atletico Luanda (Angola), Andre Nzeko (Cameroon) and Peacocks (Nigeria).

Mountada Derb Sultan begins its journey on Thursday against the Cameroonian team Friendship HB, while Widad Smara faces the ASFA team from Senegal.

Raja Agadir will play their first match on Friday against the Ivorians of Don Bosco.
