Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule. Sports for all visited Limoges. Like every year, Sports pour tous organizes an outing to discover the history and heritage of a city. This year, the club offered its members the discovery of the city of Limoges. After a stop for breakfast offered by the club, the members headed towards the city. Between the two historic hearts, they were able to discover the city, from Gallo-Roman times to today.

Supported by two guides, participants were able to appreciate the exterior of the Gothic Saint-Étienne cathedral in Limoges, whose construction spanned six centuries, before strolling through the streets of the historic center where half-timbered houses border the rue de la Boucherie. They then continued with the Baltard-style Halles, decorated in a sublime way and where the Limougeauds like to do their shopping.

During the visit to the Bernardaud factory and the presentation of the phases of the production of porcelain objects, their tour guide retraced the entire history of the Bernardaud family. A very nice discovery of this flagship of French production on the tables of the world.

The group continued with the discovery of the Center distillery, founded in 1789 and the latest heir to a long Limogeau tradition. Amidst the aromas, raw materials and ongoing production, including the legendary Gauloise, everyone was able to taste the specialties. After passing in front of the most beautiful station in Europe, the Saint-Pourcinois set off on their way back.
