You already know the story: BPM Sports made the decision on Wednesday morning to suspend Martin Lemay indefinitely following comments he made the day before during a segment on CF Montreal.
It was Alexandre Panneton, CEO of the station, who took the floor to announce everything on Wednesday afternoon.
Martin Lemay wasn’t on the air Wednesday, he wasn’t there yesterday… and he won’t be there today either; it is Greg Lanctot who should once again replace Martin Lemay.
Except that several sources told me that he was going to be back at the helm of his show (The Return of the Athletes) next Monday. His suspension will therefore be lifted after three shows failures.

Yesterday, I appealed for calm; I am therefore very happy to see that we were able to resolve this matter quickly and that Martin Lemay will be back at his microphone next week. Yes, he made unacceptable comments, but he apologized and he paid the (very expensive) price. Let’s turn the page.
I hope everyone learns from this story…and that CF Montreal will be able to forgive a guy who did not hesitate to make amends. We are still talking here about two business partners.
