From May 10 and until the end of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Porte Maillot stop is no longer served by the Aérobus service. The shuttles depart from the suburbs at least until the end of August.

Reaching Beauvais airport (Oise) from the center of Paris will be a little more complicated in the coming months. From this Friday, May 10 and until the end of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, the Porte Maillot bus stop is no longer served by the A01 Aérobus line. This shuttle service provides an 80 km connection between the capital and Picardy airport, mainly served by low-cost companies such as Ryanair and Wizzair.

Until the end of August at least, the shuttles depart from Saint-Denis University (line A02), where up to 80 round trips are provided per day. Tickets can be purchased online at aerobus.fr or on site and are valid on any bus on the line for 12 months. It is also possible to leave from La Défense bus station (line A03), from where 20 round trips are offered daily. But in this case, reservation is obligatory.

Extension of travel time

As departures take place temporarily from the Parisian suburbs, an increase in travel time is to be expected. From Châtelet, it takes around 40 minutes by metro to reach Saint-Denis Université, at the terminus of line 13. Getting to the La Défense stop is quicker thanks to the RER A which takes 10 minutes to connect Châtelet-Les Halles to the business district.

Regardless of the line taken, the journey is priced at €16.90 one way or €29.90 round trip for an adult (or respectively €9.90 and €19.90 for a child aged 4 to 11 years inclusive). “Tickets purchased before May 10, 2024 on line A01 will remain valid on line A02 Paris-Beauvais Airport – Paris Saint-Denis Université under the same conditions. It is advisable to depart from Paris Saint-Denis Université at least 3 hours before your plane takes off.», recalls Beauvais airport on its site.
