Thus, the Japanese manufacturer will have four Yaris in Rally1. Concerning points eligibility, Toyota trusts its strong men Elfyn Evans, Sébastien Ogier and Kalle Rovanperä.
At the head of the world championship, Thierry Neuville will have to lose as little time as possible on Friday as opener in order to hope to be in contention for victory until Sunday. With 6 points ahead of Elfyn Evans in the Drivers’ standings, the Hyundai representative will have to avoid all the pitfalls of the Portuguese dirt which could have hurt competitors in the past.
This 2024 Rally Portugal will be contested over 22 special stages for a total of 337.04 timed kilometers.
