Yesterday, Bruges had long sniffed a ticket to the European final, but they were beaten by Fiorentina on a disputed penalty.
The Bruges family was disappointed but must already refocus on the national level. As part of the Champions Play-offs, the Club is now the big favorite for the title.

Verhaeghe’s club have been looking for a left-footed central defender for a long time and Het Nieuwsblad reports that they have found it in 24-year-old Zaid Romero.
The Argentinian was a pillar of Estudiantes and the Club will put six million euros on the table to sign him. He will not take his medical tests until June, the newspaper specifies.
