5th on the Round last year, Aless De Bock won the Junior Tour of Flanders. The young Belgian (Acrog-Tormans U19) won solo ahead of the Dane, Magnus Carstensen (Team Mascot Workwear) at 17″ and the Belgian Matijs Van Strijthem (Van Moer Logistics Cycling Team) at 1’57”, which settled the peloton’s sprint.

Aless De Bock, winner, 1st Frenchman 37th

Aless De Bock, member of the morning breakaway, knew how to manage his race perfectly to win alone. The Belgian was part of the morning breakaway made up of 11 riders around 60 kilometers from the finish. The training runner Acrog-Tormans U19 then escaped in the company of Magnus Carstensen And Lomme Van Den Meersche. Aless De Bock waited for the last climb of the course, the Achterberg, to attack. After a solitary 15-kilometer raid, the Belgian was able to savor his victory.

On the French side, Timothée Coudiere Cantin of the team CREF – TotalEnergies Juniors is the first tricolor to have crossed the finish line almost 2 minutes behind the winner. Charly Raby And Nominoë Trigodet-Boëdec (CREF – TotalEnergies Juniors) are the only two other French people to cross the line 6’24” behind the winner.
