Martigues can celebrate the rise
The calculation is simple for Martigues: in the event of victory, the Venice of Provence club will move up to Ligue 2 – a first since 2002. Martégaux, who failed last season on the final day, could also rise in the event of a draw or defeat, depending on the results of Niort and Nancy.

A tribute to Daniel Congré, who is retiring
The club announced it in a video published mid-week: defender Daniel Congré, 39, is ending his career. His last season was disrupted by physical problems; he only played nine games. Trained and launched in Toulouse, spent in Montpellier for almost 10 years, in Dijon since 2021, Daniel Congré has played more than 620 matches in his professional career.
