RabatRun returns for a second edition, May 18 and 19, 2024

RabatRun is an official event of the TheCityRun association aiming to promote health and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle through the practice of sport, while celebrating the “City of Lights”, Rabat and its sporting community.

The event will include a variety of activities such as runs, walks, jogging, fitness sessions, etc., organized by the city’s sports community, including running groups, sports associations, sports coaches and former international champions from the region. They will mobilize for a weekend to encourage as many people as possible to practice sport. These activities will take place in different emblematic places in the city over two days.

RabatRun will highlight the beauty of the city of Rabat as well as its sports infrastructures accessible to the general public, such as the Ibnou Sina Forest, the Dar Essalam Forest, and many other places suitable for practicing outdoor sport.

The event will also celebrate the sports community of Rabat, with the participation of sports associations, sports coaches, groups of runners/walkers and champions.

The RabatRun 2024 edition will have two meeting places for all activities on Saturday May 18 and Sunday May 19. The stands will be set up in the Ibnou Sina forest (Main Entrance) and the Dar Essalam forest. These two locations will be lively and will serve as meeting points with the city’s sports community for the start of all activities. The final schedule of activities will be published on RabatRun’s social networks, the website (www.Rabat.Run), as well as sent by email to all registrants.

The activities will be sequenced, varied, inclusive and adapted to all abilities: races with varied distances (5, 10, 15 km, etc.), races for families and children, walking sessions, introductions to jogging, fitness sessions, circuit training sessions… all organized by city athletes eager to share their passion with everyone in a friendly atmosphere.

TheCityRun aims to welcome more than 5,000 participants for this second edition of RabatRun. Registration is free and open to all ages and abilities, in order to encourage as many people as possible to practice sport, to discover the emblematic places of the city and to meet the sports community of Rabat.

To obtain an e-certificate, registration is free on www.Rabat.Run, and it is also possible to order the official polyester T-shirt of the event for 50 DH.
