Raja de Casablanca has set its sights on a Spanish coach. It is Pablo Machin who would be closest to taking the reins of the Greens, replacing Rusmir Cviko.
In a statement to Le Site info, a Raja manager indicated that the club had approached several coaches including Pablo Machin. “Negotiations are going well with him. In addition, his vision corresponds to Raja’s style of play,” assured our source.
The leader also brushed aside allegations that Machin’s financial demands were exaggerated. “We indeed have a budget that must not be exceeded and its requirements in terms of salaries and bonuses are correct,” he said, assuring that the Spanish coach has set certain conditions. “He wants to choose his deputy and add another person to the technical staff,” we learn.
The same source specifies that the two parties have not yet reached an agreement and that negotiations are still ongoing.
Pablo Machin was coach of several clubs including Girona FC, Sevilla FC, Espanyol, Alavès and AI Ain. He is renowned for his tactical flexibility, notably his preference for playing with three central defenders, and his attention to detail in defensive and offensive construction.
