Called to react on the fragile situation of Eric Ten Hag, Jim Ratcliffe avoided commenting on the future of the Dutch coach.
Life hasn’t been good at Manchester United lately. The Red Devils team continues to produce disappointing results. The last one is this bitter setback (0-3) at Old Trafford against Tottenham in the league last weekend. And this one risks putting an end to Eric Ten Hag’s job at the head of the club.
The main person concerned doesn’t seem any more worried than that, but what does he think? Jim Ratclife on the question?
“I don’t want to answer that question…I like Erik. I think he’s a very good manager, but it’s not me who decides, it’s the Manchester United management team who have to decide the best way to manage the team,” dodged the co- owner of the Red Devils.
Then he admitted that Manchester United were not “where they should be”.
