Kaiden Guhle, speaking with journalists on the beat of the Canadian, revealed that he feels ready to return to the game. He does not feel worried about playing tomorrow’s match.

This is good news for anyone recovering from an operation to remove his appendix.

As Martin St-Louis pointed out earlier this week and as recalled by Anthony Marcotte, it is clear that the club does not want to play him if he is not in great shape.

The risk is just too great.

Let us obviously note here that the Canadian defender did not say that he was going to play: he said that he felt able to play.

However, I expect, if he says this publicly and has met the media, that he will indeed be ready to play tomorrow’s match against the big bad guys Ottawa Senators.

If Guhle ever plays, I also expect Mike Matheson, who was not in uniform Tuesday, to be there tomorrow as well. In fact, I expect Matheson to be here tomorrow regardless of Guhle’s condition.

Thus, the coach could test his first pair.

I don’t know if Lane Hutson will (surely) be there tomorrow, he who didn’t play on Tuesday. Could we see him alongside David Savard, to test the potential top-4 in the first match of the season? Possible.
