Intense preparation to get to the top in Paris
On a daily basis, Marion Borras is part of the Saint Michel-Mavic-Auber 93 cycling team, a team with which she continues to run during her Olympic preparation. Another important element of preparation: team cohesion, because among the events that await Marion Borras, some are team-based. “We are lucky to have a group that gets along very well, we were together at the pole in Bourges (Editor’s note – The national youth training center for track cycling), and we are friends even outside of cycling“. A group that moves forward together with excitement and determination.
A status to assume and ambitions displayed
In Tokyo in 2021, Marion Borras only participated in the team pursuit, which she finished in 7th place with her teammates from the French team. This time in Paris, the Iséroise will be competing in three events. The team pursuit again, it involves covering 4 kilometers as quickly as possible, but also the Omnium, an individual discipline made up of 4 short races, and the American. The American, Marion Borras masters since she was crowned European champion earlier this year in Apeldoorn in the Netherlands with his partner Valentine Fortin. A spectacular discipline, a duo relay race over 120 laps during which the two partners pass the relay by hand at full speed.
