He earned a point for Anderlecht with a terrible goalkeeper handball save on a close shot from Somers. From the start of the match, he was very sure of himself, both on his (fairly easy) interventions and on his (often long) clearances. Couldn’t have done anything about Daaland’s perfect volley.

Excellent pass to Vazquez, who should have made it 0-1, but it was on the rebound – via Stroeykens – that Sporting opened the scoring. His slip gave the 1-1 to Denkey, who did not take advantage of it. He suffered in the second half.

Very good intervention on a tense free kick from Siquet in the first half. Jostled by Denkey, he had to put on his combat gear. Too many vertical balloons too easily lost.

His change of wing was the basis of the 0-1. He often bent but managed to save the furniture.
