The fifth day of Ligue 1 started with a thorough beating, inflicted by Nice on Saint-Étienne, 8-0, on Friday September 20. According to RMC Sport after the debacle, the ASSE management went down to the locker room. Several points emerged: there is shame, and it must serve as a lesson. After four defeats in five matches, the group must question itself, especially after the collective failure observed in Nice.
