Licensed at Stade Clermontois cheerleading, Valentin Gimet will participate in the world championships in the discipline which are taking place in the United States, from April 24 to 26.

Valentin Gimet is one of the athletes from the Stade Clermontois cheerleading club who was selected for Team to participate in the world championships which take place from April 24 to 26 in Orlando, Florida (United States). Cheerleading is a comprehensive sport that combines floor gymnastics, aerials, dance, flexibility and coordination.

Alongside the 25 other athletes on the mixed team representing France, Valentin Gimet (29 years old) and Solène Lopez (21 years old) actively prepared for this world event which takes place every two years.

Valentin demonstrated his sport with his team at the Maison des Sports and explained “that after rugby, he turned to this sport. After an immeasurable number of training sessions, he was selected for Team France.” He will therefore participate with 25 other athletes from the mixed team in the world championship.
