The closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games was broadcast live from the Stade de France from around 8:30 p.m. to 11:05 p.m. It featured a large amount of electronic music, with 24 DJs including big names such as Jean-Michel Jarre, Etienne de Crécy and Martin Solveig.

The Paris 2024 sequence, with the Olympic Games (from July 26 to August 11) and then, to a lesser extent, the Paralympic Games (from August 28 to Sunday), brought strong audiences to France Télévisions, their broadcaster. The public group’s main channel, France 2, was the number one in France in August, ahead of TF1, with a 23.3% audience share for the entire month, according to figures from Médiamétrie published on September 2. The Paralympic Games benefited from unprecedented exposure on France Télévisions, with 300 hours of live broadcasts, compared to 100 for the previous edition, in Tokyo in 2021, and less than 10 hours for London in 2012.
