Welcome to this live broadcast dedicated to the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

What’s on today’s schedule? On the French side, the day will begin under the nave of the Grand Palais with fencing. Clémence Delavoipiere will be the first on the track, she who competes from 9 am in épée, in category A. In the same table, Brianna Vidé will enter the competition at 11:10 am. Between the two, Yohann Peter will begin his day at 9:40 am and Cécile Demaude at 10:10 am, both also in épée, in category B.

As every morning, you will have to keep a watchful eye on the Paralympic pool, where many French people will be aiming to qualify for the afternoon finals. Solène Sache will participate in the 50m butterfly (S5) at 9:53 a.m., Emeline Pierre and Anaëlle Roulet in the 100m backstroke (S10) at 10:10 a.m., Hector Denayer in the 100m butterfly (S9) at 10:18 a.m., Assya Maurin Espiau in the 100m backstroke (S14) at 10:45 a.m. and Dimitri Granjux and David Smetanine in the 50m freestyle (S4) at 11:03 a.m.

As in recent days, the French clan will be banking heavily on cycling to accumulate medals. Dorian Foulon, Gatien Le Rousseau and Kevin Le Cunff in the men’s race, Heïdi Gaugain and Marie Patouillet in the women’s race will set off for the road race in the C4-5 category, at 9:30 a.m. and 9:35 a.m. respectively. Elie de Carvalho and Alexandre Lloveras will compete in the road race B at 1 p.m., and Anne-Sophie Centis will do the same at 1:10 p.m.

The French team will also follow one another in para canoeing. Rémy Boullé will set off at 10 a.m. in the kayak (KL1) series over 200 m, followed by Eléa Charvet in va’a (VL3) over 200 m at 10:30 a.m., Nelia Barbosa in kayak (KL3) over 200 m at 11:55 a.m. and finally Abel Aber in va’a (VL3) over 200 m at 12:05 p.m. In judo, in the under 73 kg category, follow Armindo Rodrigues (J1) and Nathan Petit (J2). Both will compete from 10 a.m.

At noon, Frédéric Cattaneo and Stéphane Houdet will begin their match for third place on the Suzanne-Lenglen court at Roland-Garros, while Souhad Ghazouani will take part in the para weightlifting final in the under 67 kg category from 5 p.m.

Finally, the Stade de France will be the scene of a new evening of athletics, with Vitolio Kavakava and Sofia Pace in particular. The former will begin his shot put final (F57) at 7:04 p.m., while the latter will take part in the 400 m final (T38) at 9:37 p.m.
