Adrien Rabiot's rating: 7/10
His appreciation
Rabiot played several positions during the match, but he started higher up the pitch, mainly on the left side. His main mission was to neutralize Sarr's restarts, while benefiting from great offensive freedom, which he exploited especially after the break. In the second half, he was able to make intelligent shifts and played a key role in the circulation of the ball. His runs with the ball were also valuable, bringing real dynamism to the attack as the match progressed. A nice confirmation after his double against Italy with the Blues.
Media notes
Team Rating | 6/10 | Like Greenwood, he alternated between different positions but he was established quite high up the pitch rather on the left. Responsible for blocking Sarr's restarts, he had great offensive freedom which he mainly used in the second period. Author of well-known shifts, he was invaluable in the circulation of the ball and in his climbs with the ball throughout the match. |
Maxifoot rating | 7/10 | After his double with France against Italy (3-1) in the Nations League, the Olympique de Marseille midfielder confirmed his rise to power. In an Olympian team that was often pushed around, the French international was able to win the duels and cut off several Lens offensives. Even in his projections, he tried to weigh on the left side, but was sometimes a little too alone. |
Note from FootMercato | 8.5/10 | Aligned in a left midfielder role, the French international delivered a great performance in the Marseille midfield. Authoritative in the duel (8/12, 4 balls recovered, 3 interceptions), precious in his orientation of the game and always well placed, he allowed his team not to crack in the face of the intensity put on by the Sang et Or. Sharpened physically, he multiplied the races to sow trouble in the Lens defense, while recovering numerous balls. A full and very encouraging match for the continuation of his adventure in Marseille. |
