In the dispute between him and Kylian Mbappé, Paris Saint-Germain suffered another defeat this Friday. This time, the French Football Federation has rejected the request from the Ile-de-France club from which the Real Madrid striker is still claiming 55 million euros in unpaid bonuses and salaries.
Regardless of the jurisdiction sought, the result remains the same. Like the joint appeals committee of the Professional Football League, the French Football Federation did not satisfy Paris Saint-Germain in its dispute against Kylian Mbappé. There is, however, a significant difference in this verdict. As specified by AFP, the FFF executive committee did not rule in favor of the Real Madrid striker.
She instead rejected the request from the Ile-de-France club sent a day too late. After the decision rendered by the LFP joint committee on October 25, Paris Saint-Germain had 10 days to contact the FFF. This error still benefits Kylian Mbappé who is claiming 55 million euros in unpaid bonuses and salaries. In the summer of 2023, the striker, sidelined following his refusal to extend, reached a financial agreement with President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. The objective was not to affect Paris Saint-Germain in the event of a free start.
PSG will not stop there
But months have passed and Kylian Mbappé has apparently returned to this oral agreement, hence the dispute which now opposes the two parties. A priori, the reigning French champion will not stop there. In its previous press release on the subject, management warned that “ if the player unfortunately decides to continue this dispute, the club will be forced to have it judged by the competent courts “. The sporting authorities having failed Paris Saint-Germain, the case will probably be presented to the industrial tribunal.
