PSG will be very active during the next winter transfer window since ideally, the capital club would like to recruit two players. At the same time, Skriniar and Kolo Muani are pushed towards the exit.
Historically, Paris Saint-Germain is not a club accustomed to major maneuvers during the winter transfer window. Next January, however, there may be change in the capital. The idea is not to make a revolution and fundamentally shake up Luis Enrique's squad. But according to the information from The Teamsome changes are desired internally, both in terms of arrivals and departures. According to the national daily, PSG is planning two moves in each direction. It will surprise no one, Randal Kolo Muani and Milan Skriniar are pushed towards the exit.
The Slovak international is being tracked in Italy and the Premier League but for Paris SG, the most difficult thing will be finding a club that will agree to take on a major part of his salary. As for the striker of the French team, there too, this is a file where there is no shortage of suitors. Juve, Manchester United and other English clubs are in the running. A five-month loan is being considered and the ex-Frankfurt striker is open to a departure, having understood that Luis Enrique was not counting on him. What is more interesting is to know precisely in which positions PSG wishes to strengthen from January. According to our colleagues Hugo Delom and Loïc Tanzi, the priorities of the reigning French champion are clearly established.
PSG targets a winger and a central defender
The idea is in particular to recruit a winger from the winter transfer window, a “player capable of intensifying competition, particularly on the left”. It must be said that apart from Barcola and Dembélé, Luis Enrique has few solutions because Lee or Doué are irregular or too fair in the big European posters. Recruitment in January is therefore necessary. A need is also felt at the central defender position, where the idea is clearly to recruit a right-hander in order to be able to make Marquinhos breathe more calmly. In this matter, the departure of Milan Skriniar will however be crucial, because PSG no longer wants to stack players in the same position in order to maintain balance in its locker room and in its payroll.
Two months before the start of the transfer window, Luis Campos in any case has clear ideas, with an assumed desire to recruit two players and send two others away. Now it remains to put all this into practice and see if the PSG sports coordinator will achieve his objectives.
