French referee François Letexier talks about his second job

THE SPORT SCAN – The French referee, who notably officiated during the last OM-PSG Classic, leads a second professional life in the justice system.

«I discovered this profession when I was in law school.» In a (sponsored) interview given to BrutFrançois Letexier revealed that he had another job, aside from his intense training and the matches he directs every weekend on the Ligue 1 pitches mainly: justice commissioner.

«I did a legal career, and it was from the license that I got to know this environment, with a speaker who was at the time the president of the regional chamber of bailiffs, I discovered a field job, very practical, that's really what I liked, says the 35-year-old Breton. We are facing people, we don’t have a routine that is created.”

It allows me to think about something else and live a slightly more normal life again.

Considered one of the best French referees, François Letexier notably officiated in the center of the field during the Classic between OM and PSG (0-3), giving a disputed red card to Marseillais Amine Harit. Last summer, the native of was also on the whistle for the Euro final won by Spain against England (2-1).
