Last summer, PSG chose to part ways with Gabriel Moscardo on loan. The young Brazilian midfielder joined Stade de Reims to start his adventure in France.
PSG has tried some bets recently on the transfer market. And there can't be only successes. If Lucas Beraldo very quickly had the trust of Luis Enrique, before losing it somewhat, Gabriel Moscardo was ousted from the pro group of the capital club. Last summer, all parties agreed that a loan move would be more attractive for the midfielder. Stade de Reims bet on him, hoping that the story would be good. But now, nothing is going as planned for Gabriel Moscardo, who has not had any playing time with the Champagne club since the start of the season. Obviously something to take your breath away, whether in terms of his physical form or his real level of play.
Moscardo, nothing is wrong
This Monday, the pro-PSG account Djamel said more via his X account on the situation around the 19-year-old Brazilian player: “Complicated his start to the season eh… We still haven’t seen him play a single minute with Reims even though he is available”. As a reminder, Moscardo cost PSG almost 20 million almost a year ago. The player had to undergo major foot surgery and did not arrive in the capital in the best shape. As said above, Luis Enrique did not want to trust him, probably after seeing him in training, severely lacking in rhythm. If the situation were to continue, an adventure in Europe would become increasingly dark for Gabriel Moscardo. It's up to him to reverse the trend, since he is apparently not injured. Next weekend, Stade de Reims will be on the pitch at Le Havre in Ligue 1. An important trip which will perhaps launch Moscardo's French adventure. But nothing is certain about him.
