Club: After Atlético, PSG will still have little time before Ligue 1

The LFP has unveiled the TV programming for the 11th day of Ligue 1, which will see PSG travel to , current bottom of the championship. A match which will be played just three days after PSG’s match against Atlético Madrid in the Champions League.

One month before the 11th day of Ligue 1, the LFP has revealed the schedules for the day as well as the TV programming. In addition to the OL/ASSE derby, which will be played on Sunday, November 10 from 8:45 p.m., this 11th day will offer us an Angers/PSG match on Saturday, November 9 from 9 p.m. And for the 9th time this season in the championship, the DAZN channel will broadcast this meeting.

Angers/PSG scheduled three days after PSG/Atlético

As last September, with the reception of Girona (1-0 victory) then the trip to (1-1), PSG will play next November in Angers just three days after having hosted a Spanish club in the Champions League at the Parc des Princes, in this case Diego Simeone’s Atlético Madrid.

PSG/Atlético will take place on Wednesday November 6 at 9 p.m. and Luis Enrique will only have Thursday and Friday to prepare for Saturday’s match against SCO, current bottom of Ligue 1. Before the draw in Reims last September, the The Spanish coach said this at a press conference: “This is the shortest time we can have between two matches. There is always a risk when we play in the league after the Champions League because we come from a competition which is very demanding and very interesting for the players to another competition which is that of each week and each day. »

In October, PSG will play PSV three days after

Deprived in particular in Reims of Marco Asensio, who had been injured against Girona a few days earlier, PSG had left several executives resting or on the bench at kick-off against the Rémois and had not been able to do better than disappointing 1-1 draw. Reims is, however, a much more equipped team at the start of the season than Angers, which has not yet won a single match, even if the SCO remains in an encouraging draw in .

Note that in October, PSG will have five days between its Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven (Tuesday November 22) and its trip to the Vélodrome to face OM (Sunday November 27), but will instead play against to the Dutch only three days after hosting Strasbourg during the 8th day of Ligue 1 (Saturday November 19). Around the Champions League, PSG’s schedule is therefore always very tight.
