The City of plans to take legal action against an amendment by the Île-de- region which reserves 50 hectares of land for the construction of a new stadium for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). This project is perceived by the municipality as a direct threat to the future of the Parc des Princes, which PSG rents to the city until 2044. During the Paris Council, the municipal majority intends to file a contentious appeal to challenge this decision regional.
