To succeed Franck Haise, RC Lens has decided to bet on Will Still this summer. The former Stade de Reims technician signed a contract until 2027, but he could well leave the north of France before that date. Indeed, the latter once again affirmed his wish to one day coach in England.

The coach of RC Lens said they may have been misinterpreted, but he would still like to return to his home country. “Why did I choose to stay in Ligue 1 when I had avenues abroad? Because at this point in my career, it seemed like the right step. I think it was misinterpreted that I wanted to go to England, but one day I would like to go back there. I always said I was going to do things in order, step by step. Did I make my decision quickly? Very quickly. When Lens arrived, it was the right club at the right time and the right step to take.
