Milan Bisevac recalls his PSG memories

Former PSG player, ex-Serbian international, Milan Bisevac, looked back on some memories of his adventure with the Rouge & Bleu.

Recruited in July 2011 PSG at the request ofAntoine Kombouare, Milan
Bisevac
was one of the first recruitments of the era
QSI. Finally, after 25 matches played, the Serb committed the following year to Olympique Lyonnais. In an interview with The team, Milan
Bisevac
(41 years old) recalled some memories with the Rouge & Bleu, notably his departure from the French capital.

The coach who surprised him the most in his career

” When Carlo Ancelotti signed to
ParisI asked myself the question: ‘How will this work out for me?’
Antoine (Kombouaré) made me come. The day he arrived, I was early as usual and we passed each other in the hallway. I’m like, ‘does he actually know me?’ (He laughs). He has worked with so many extraordinary players! And there, he said to me in French: ‘You Serbs, you are tough, you are warriors.’ In my head it was relief. With him, I played right back and he had confidence in me. »

The decision he never understood in his career

“That of
Leonardo
to make me leave
PSG (2012)… The Qataris were starting to build something good, with great players. You want to play with great players, you progress. When
Ibra arrived, he said to me ‘are you staying?’, I said ‘yes’, but the will must be on both sides… Should they free up places? They started putting pressure on me to make me leave faster… Relationships are getting colder… but not with
Carlo (Ancelotti). But if you want to put pressure on me, it doesn’t work. In my life I have gone through pressure that you cannot imagine. In
SerbiaI went through the war, I saw the bombs fall… In football, I played the Red Star. If you lose one match, it’s very tough… If you lose two, the supporters are there… If you lose the derby, it’s worse. So pressure, for me, is a joke. But
Lyon introduced himself. There was a discussion in the office Leonardo with my agent
Franck Belhassen. After ten minutes I said, ‘I’m never late for practice, I’m leaving.’ Later, we found the solution and we parted as good friends. »

The attacker he hated meeting?

« Zlatan Ibrahimovicit was a beast. You know you’re going to have a bad day with him. He is strong, technical, fast, mean. With Mamadou Niang in too, it was very difficult, he was annoying. Very strong in movement, effort, sense of purpose. You don’t sleep peacefully the night before. »

The nastiest player

“(He smiles.) It could be me! Otherwise,
Thiago Mottaa very great player, the boss of the middle who made shots that we didn’t see. Great class. »

The strongest player he played with

« Aruna Dindane impressed me
Lens (2007-2008). Powerful, fast, technical, scorer, competitive, strong on his feet… In training, he was tough, you didn’t want to be in a duel with him. Afterwards, of course I played with
Javier Pastore
or Marco Verratti has
Paris, Lisandro Lopez has
Lyonthe class. »
