Benfica S'inclline to Casa Pia

Benfica fell into the Casa Pia trap. In (short) trip to the lawn of black and white this Saturday, the incarnados, who came out of a cruel defeat against FC Barcelona in the Champions League (4-5)bowed on the score of three goals to one. However, at the Estádio Pina Manique, it was the men of Bruno Lage who opened the scoring, after a quarter of an hour of play, thanks to a penalty obtained by Leandro Barreiro and transformed into stride by Angel Di Maria.

But a quarter of an hour later, the Brazilian veteran Cassiano took advantage of a gross error of the young central defender António Silva to score his sixth goal of the season. It was then necessary to wait until the time of play for the score evolving in favor of Casa Pia, thanks to an excellent work by Gaizka Larrazabal, a smuggler for the former Sporting CP player, Nuno Moreira.

Led, the band to Nicolas Otamendi then tried everything to pick up the scoring, especially with the entrances to the game of Andreas Schjelderup, Vangélis Pavlidis – author of a hat -trick against Barça – or even Manu Silva, the new Lisbon recruit, straight from Vitoria SC. But the efforts were not enough, and it was even Casa Pia who scored the fourth goal of the meeting, through the French Jérémy Livant (90+4).
