While the winter transfer window has been particularly calm since its opening on January 1, it could accelerate in the coming hours.

The club should formalize this Thursday evening the arrival in the form of loan, presumably with a purchase option, of Irish defender Andrew Omobamidele (22 years old), under contract with Nottingham Forrest until June 2028.

The Irish international (10 caps) has had little playing time there, playing only one match in the English League Cup this season. ''Forest'', where Matz Sels plays, occupies an astonishing 3rd place in the Premier League.

Andrew Omobamidele would have trained separately this morning in Strasbourg with a physical trainer, which Liam Rosenior did not want to confirm this Thursday at a press conference before the reception in (Saturday, 7 p.m.).

“There are players that we have targeted, clubs that we are discussing with, but as long as nothing is officially confirmed, I am not talking about transfers,” the British coach was content to say before dismiss with a smile the player's presence this morning at the training center.

To be continued, therefore…
