The first results of the 7th day of the championship phase of the Champions League were clearly not favorable to PSG. Paris lost a place, with a number of unfavorable results.
Due to its complicated situation in the standings, PSG must also count on the others in the Champions League and the assistance was very meager this Tuesday evening during the first matches of the seventh day of the championship phase. Overall, practically no result is favorable to PSG in its race for the top places and Paris even loses a position, now being 26th.
On the move to Bratislavahis future European opponent Stuttgart obviously did not tremble against a very weak Slovak team overall. The Germans won 3-1 and could even have won with a much larger score given the number of missed opportunities. This victory with only two goals difference is practically a good result given that the VfB still has a negative goal difference (-1).
Another match which did not go in favor of the Parisians, that of PSV Eindhoven who won Belgrade. The matter seemed settled at half-time as the Dutch led 3-0. But Flamingo was sent off and Red Star scored two goals. It was not enough and the Dutch did a good job since they now have 11 points before facing Liverpool on the last day.
-The defeat of Benfica against the Barça at the last second is, however, excellent news for PSG. Far from us the idea of wanting to say good things about Barça but Benfica remains stuck at ten points before a final match on the field of the Juventus. Juve, however, did not do PSG any favors by conceding a 0-0 draw to Used which allows the Belgians to have 11 points before going to City for the last day.
