Official: Albert Gronbaek loaned to Southampton

Arriving this summer, Albert Gronbaek leaves Stade Rennes for Southampton, on loan.

New start at Stade Rennes. After Henrik Meister left for Pisa on loan, it is the turn of another summer recruit in Frederic Massara to leave Brittany, after six months. Left out of the group a few days ago just like three other of his teammates, Albert Gronbaek is loaned for “a period of six months” to Southampton, in the Premier League, SRFC makes official.

According to Ouest-France, a purchase option set at 15 million euros is attached to the loan, for the Danish international who arrived in Rennes for the same sum, bonus included, on July 15 from Bodo/Glimt.
