Nantes wants to try for Abakar Sylla!

FC Nantes is looking for a central defender, to compensate for the long absence of Nathan Zézé and to ensure the success of the maintenance operation. Among the avenues explored, we find the ambitious one leading to Abakar Sylla, the 22-year-old Ivorian defender. Ambitious because Abakar Sylla was recruited for €20 million by Strasbourg in the summer of 2023.

Affected in the adductors a few weeks ago, Sylla made his return to the Strasbourg group, but plays less. The Sarr-Doukouré hinge is favored by coach Liam Rosenior. It remains to be seen whether this will be enough to open the door to a departure for a six-month loan.
